Planning Permission Granted! 🎉

Updated: Aug 29

Delighted to say that on Friday past, 25th August, Planning Service granted Planning Permission for this two storey side extension and single storey rear extension. A Building Control application will be lodged on Monday, then work can begin on site.

Changes to this semi-detached home along Brentwood Park in Belfast, my client's wish list, included the following:

Ground Floor

  • To create an open plan Family / Kitchen / Dining Room.

  • To provide lots of natural daylight in the new living space by incorporating fully glazed large sliding doors and a Vario by Velux Rooflight above.

  • To maximise the views out to the gardens through the glazed doors and by removing the outbuildings.

  • To maintain pedestrian access to the rear gardens through a sheltered canopy, with a new bedroom above.

First Floor

  • To provide a third bedroom with dual aspect windows.
