66 days in Lockdown!
Updated: May 11
The events of the last couple of months have been unfathomable, who would have guessed that we’d be held up in a Pandemic lockdown? It’s been a very worrying time for us all, socially and economically. I hope you are all keeping well, safe and following guidelines to help get us through this.
You may or may not know that I work from home and have done for sixteen years. During this lockdown I’m grateful to be able to continue working from home.
I’m delighted to say that I have been asked to help prepare drawings for the restoration of the Grand Opera House in Belfast. You may know that in January 2020 the Grand Opera House embarked on its most ambitious restoration and development project in 40 years, aiming to return the beautiful 1895 auditorium to its original splendour. The Grand Opera House plans to reopen before its 125th anniversary on 23 December 2020. I’m sure many of us are looking forward to it and slowly life will get back to normal.
Meantime it’s not much to ask, for all of us to do our best, follow guidelines and advice until we are all through this dreadful pandemic.
Best wishes to you all from me. Glenn
