I could never say that I'm a fan of plastic Conservatories. Cold in Winter and hot in Summer is what many of my Client's have told me. This client even paid more money to have the roof insulated, companies advertise this as a solution but what they do not say is that it won't make very much difference!
I was asked to come up with a design to remove the existing conservatory, provide a larger open plan Kitchen / Dining area with a large amount of glazing to provide natural daylight and views out to the gardens.
I was also asked to provide a separate Utility and a Study, a place to work from at home.
Also switching from oil fired central heating to gas, now the oil tank can be removed.
I'm happy with the proposals and more importantly my Client's are delighted.
The changes will make significant improvements to this semi-detached house in Belfast.
