I'm delighted with this little scheme... drawings just completed and a Planning Application lodged. Approvals should be with us soon and then I can start the construction drawings and following on from that, let the building work commence!
From the moment I arrived on site I was amazed at the panoramic views from the rear garden wall of this County Down home....
....but inside the existing kitchen of this single storey home was a different story, looking out past the blue fence, shed and parking space only a glimpse of the sea could be seen. This home was certainly missing it's potential....
... time to think and we came up with the perfect solution, to extend above the rear, providing studio accommodation with a sitting area, wood burning stove, bed and adjacent shower room. A perfect place now to relax and unwind....
....and what a difference this will make! Gone is the mismatched fenestration and old fashioned terrace. Now the "New England" style two storey facade with full height glazing and balcony will provide the panoramic sea views this home deserves!
