I was pleased to be asked to carry out a measured survey and prepare existing plans / elevations of two very large period homes in Bangor, County Down.
As I explained in a previous blog a measured survey is the basis for preparing initial sketch proposals. It's crucial that existing drawings are accurate and detailed to prevent problems and costs spiralling when work commences on site.
After I sketched the property and recorded a lot of measurements on site here's the finished drawings prepared on CAD.
Next stage is to prepare proposals and lodge both the Building Control and Planning Application for approvals.
