Last night Channel 4 featured Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year travelling the length and breadth of the British Isles, visiting the extraordinary sheds vying to be crowned Shed of the Year 2015.
I was certainly amazed by the genius of the nation’s sheddies and their surprising and spectacular creations, packed with inspired design features for a mind-blowing range of eccentric uses!
One of my favourites was certainly the "Maid of Dekkin" owned by Cormac Hawkins from Surrey who built a shed and decking on the river and at the bottom of his garden. The amazing thing is that it all doubles up as Cormac's river boat, he just unties the decking and of he goes down the river, shed and all!
