Here was my clients wish-list for his loft / attic conversion:

Ground Floor

New staircase from existing hall to access the new first floor

First Floor

2 additional bedrooms in the attic / loft.
1 new office / study upstairs.
1 new bathroom (shower / toilet / wash hand basin) which could be en-suite to a bedroom or separate.
Maximize views at the rear of house towards the sea.
Storage space for occasional use items.

On the new first floor a Master Bedroom (En-suite) an additional bedroom and a new Study. Also a Games Room and great storage space.
